Computer Learning Center Project
The purpose of the Computer Learning Center Project is to aid all kids who are ages 6 to 18 who use, or want to explore, computer technology, to increase their knowledge or share it with others and to further their computer skills".
We provide a friendly, enthusiastic environment where students can learn to use computers and share computing experiences. We’re helping to build a community of computer literate kids/adults who are able to manage information and graphics, use email, and experience the World Wide Web (Internet).
What We Do
Provide a friendly environment where all ages can come to learn computer and internet basic skills.
The Computer Learning Center, serving the Shreveport/Bossier area, provides a friendly, enthusiastic environment where students can learn to use computers and share computing experiences. CLC is building a community of computer literate people to bring them access to technology and to empower them to share their knowledge and wisdom. Our classroom environment provides each student the use of a computer with the applications needed to provide hands on instruction. Additionally, students experience the World Wide Web (Internet) and E-mail basics through actual on-line activity.
Learning Center Philosophy
We believe in "learning by doing" in our specially paced, supportive classroom environment. Each student will have his/her own computer workstation.
The Computer Learning Center staff will do their utmost to accommodate the special needs of any student. So, why not join us for a fun and interesting experience.
